Three and Vodafone Merger - what does it really mean?

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding our recent partnership with Three, as well as some exciting news about a potential merger between Three and Vodafone.

As many of you know, we have worked with various mobile network providers over the years, including Vodafone, EE, and O2. We have witnessed significant changes in the industry, such as the merger of Orange and T-Mobile to form EE, and more recently, the union of EE and BT.

Following our announcement of our partnership with Three, we are thrilled to share the potential merger between Three and Vodafone. However, we want to assure our prospective customers that our promotional pricing on Three is still available despite this development.

IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS INCREDIBLE PROMOTION, PLEASE CONTACT US!

That being said, we cannot guarantee that this market-leading pricing will remain in place indefinitely. Traditionally, Vodafone has been pricier than Three, and our direct pricing comparison reveals that Vodafone's equivalent tariff is approximately 50% higher than that of Three.

Our advice is to seize the opportunity to secure these tariffs while they are still available!

We have received excellent feedback from our clients who have been using Three, with data speeds exceeding 500Mbps in certain locations. Three's network offers improved coverage and reliability, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.

Regarding the potential merger, here are some key points to consider:

- For customers, the merger will result in immediate access to an enhanced network. Going forward, it will create a best-in-class network for coverage and reliability in the UK. Our customers will continue to pay the same prices while gaining significant value from the vastly improved network. By 2034, the combined network aims to cover over 99% of the country with a 5G standalone network, delivering up to a six-fold increase in average customer speed. Additionally, Three will complement the UK's largest full fibre footprint with Fixed Wireless Access available to 82% of households by 2030.

- For the country, Three and Vodafone's investment in the UK will result in the creation of a leading 5G network in Europe, aligning with the government's Wireless Infrastructure Strategy. The merger will contribute up to £5 billion per year in economic benefits by 2030, supporting digital transformation in schools, hospitals, and businesses. By combining their standalone 5G network with best-in-class spectrum, the merged entity will be well-positioned to enable advanced 5G-based innovations in major cities and towns, accelerating levelling up and benefiting around 400 small towns with earlier access to high-capacity 5G.

- In terms of competition, the merger aims to level the playing field and increase competition among the two largest converged operators. The combination will create a third mobile network operator with scale, fostering fierce competition across all technologies and driving network investment by all players. The merged network's scale and improved quality will benefit consumers and businesses alike.

You may be wondering how this impacts our trading relationship. Rest assured, there will be no changes to our partnership at this time. The merger is still subject to regulatory clearance, and until approval is granted, we remain focused on delivering our standalone business plan. At COMSENSE, we continue to serve business customers across all mobile networks, including Three, Vodafone, EE, and O2, offering the best prices available. We have also introduced a multi-network data-only SIM option.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the COMSENSE team to discuss any of the above or explore our offers for businesses.
