Comsense are FSQS registered

Following a productive meeting with BNP Paribas in April 2024, Comsense was invited to apply for FSQS registration.

The subsequent questionnaires were understandably rigorous, but we are proud to announce our successful completion of the process.

The FSQS Registered Mark is highly valued by some of the largest purchasers in the financial sector, demonstrating Comsense's commitment and credentials within the industry.

Comsense recognises that many financial institutions have substantial telecoms contracts in place.

However, our investigations have revealed numerous telecom services that incumbent providers either do not support or lack the expertise to manage.

Examples include:

  1. An institution may require additional mobile networks beyond its core 'singular' network. When hundreds or thousands of connections are deployed on a single network, some users may be unproductive due to poor signal in their area. Comsense can supply and manage all these additional connections across different networks, consolidating them into a single monthly bill.

  2. Many businesses encounter issues with 'troublesome sites,' such as older buildings, smaller satellite offices, or retail locations, which are not the main headquarters. These sites often have limited CAT 5/6 cabling or are served by copper analogue lines, supporting devices like fax machines, lifts, alarms, door entry systems, or multiple telephone users operating over ISDN 2/30 lines. Comsense offers solutions to modernise these offices and future-proof them against the impending PSTN switch-off (the traditional telephony network that connects calls via physical phone lines). Our solutions involve minimal disruption and cost. For example, Comsense assisted a customer operating from an old mansion house with 30 rooms and two lifts, all using traditional copper cabling and two ISDN 2 lines. The cost of installing CAT 5 cabling was prohibitive, and deploying a Wi-Fi enabled ATA (Analogue Terminal Adapter) in each room was impractical. We resolved this with an innovative solution comprising a 48-port ATA, an internet line, and SIP trunks. This approach saved the customer tens of thousands of pounds while providing a robust new service free from ISDN 2.
